Soundscape Project Workshops

Perth-based ecological sound artist, Perdita Phillips will run workshops in Esperance

from 12th – 19th July covering the following:

WORKSHOP 1 – Sunday 12th July, 2.00 – 4.00 pm (Location TBC)

•Soundscape Listening

•Using your smartphone for basic recording

WORKSHOP 2 - Time & Location TBC

•Demonstration and use of more advanced sound recording equipment

•Fieldcraft – recording in the field

WORKSHOP 3 – Hope FM Community Radio (Time TBC)

•Saving and organising your sound files

•Developing ideas for your soundscape

•Basic sound editing /introduction to Audacity

Workshops are free and no experience is required.
