Competition Closed - August 27th 2019
Spending time in Nature and being creative can have strong benefits for health and wellbeing.
The 2019 Act-Belong-Commit Esperance Wildflower Festival Art Exhibition and
Competition is a great opportunity to do both.
Artists living in the Esperance region are invited to submit artwork that responds to the theme of ‘Nature, Bush, Belonging’. This complements the overall Festival theme for 2019 of ‘Bugs and the Bush’, a celebration of local plants and insect species and the important relationships between them.
The competition is open to individuals (Open Category) and to school groups (Schools Category).
Entries in the Open Category will be exhibited in shop windows throughout the Esperance CBD from 9th – 29th September. Entries in the Schools Category will be exhibited in the Anglican Parish Church during the Festival from 24th – 28th September.
Community members will be invited to vote for People’s Choice Awards in both categories and the prize winners will be announced at the Esperance Wildflower Festival on Saturday 28th September.
Individual students can enter the open category as well as the schools category.
